With a camera and on foot, Jude ambles about, often in bad weather, always ready for surprises. Sensing something unusual, Jude zeroes in and frames it. His photographs take us to the ordinary places, we may have overlooked.

Jude attended art schools, after graduating in English from Queen's University, in Kingston. It was during this time that he began to develop his unique style as a photographer who makes the obvious, visually compelling.

He worked as a news-photographer, winning several press awards. By telling news stories with pictures, the photographer becomes adept at interpreting events, adding depth and colour to each situation.

With his photographs, the erratic world funnels to simple, timeless images. The photographs seem sourced to painting with their unerring mastery of the visual code.

Jude's photographs enrich our dwelling places and inspire us with the living beauty of the world.
